Why would anyone want to hear traditional apologetic defenses today if Christians don’t seem to have hope in Christ?

15 Set Christ apart as Lord in your hearts and always be ready to give an answer to anyone who asksabout the hope you possess. 16 Yet do it with courtesy and respect, keeping a good conscience, so thatthose who slander your good conduct in Christ may be put to shame when they accuse you. 17 For it is better to suffer for doing good, if God wills it, than for doing evil.

  1. How encouraging that our hope is in Christ alone. It moves the church to Matthew 6:28-33 that causes us to see through the lens of Scripture and praying accordingly for our land.
